Meet the Team

Esra Persellin is a distinguished structural engineer with a Master of Science degree from the University of Utah, where her studies focused on addressing complex vibration issues in heavy industrial structures.

Her vast professional experience includes expertise in structural analysis, heavy concrete and steel design, telecom, and vibration analysis and control. Esra has served in several leadership roles, utilizing these skills to great effect during her tenure as Vice President of Engineering at EngAssist and later as CEO of Select Structural.

In the course of her career, Esra has had the privilege of working closely with architects on numerous projects. This experience has deepened her understanding of the intricate relationship between aesthetic design and structural integrity in the creation of functional and beautiful built environments.

Additionally, Esra is an author of several structural engineering textbooks. Her publications allow her to share her vast knowledge and industry insights, providing an invaluable resource to those in her field.
Outside her professional life, Esra cherishes her role as a wife and mother to two wonderful children. Her diverse accomplishments in both her professional and personal life underscore her commitment and versatility.

Mr. Anderson has over 27 years of structural engineering experience in the successful completion of high-profile projects in the State of Florida, nationally, and over-seas. A large body of his work experience includes the new design and additions of municipal structures and institutional buildings including fire stations, schools, universities, and hospital/ clinics and churches; however, his diverse engineering background covers nearly all areas of structural design. He has specialized experience in concrete and steel, high-rise commercial structures, post-tension, seismic, and wind-load design, as well as analysis for renovation and restoration.
